Can WPC be used in indoor spaces?
WPC is a safe material and there are no contraindications to its use for interior design. Indeed, the great versatility of the material allows the creation of custom cladding, false ceilings, and sunshade walls to meet every design requirement.
How do you clean stains on WPC surfaces?
In case of stains, it is recommended to clean the surfaces immediately with a simple damp cloth. WPC still requires minimal and occasional maintenance. We recommend consulting the short maintenance and handling manual available in our Technical Area.
For internal applications, is the smooth or brushed finish better?
The brushed finish is more resistant to the action of UV rays, and for this reason it is more often used to clad surfaces exposed to the sun. Smooth finishes, on the other hand, highlight the in-body grain, making them closer in appearance to natural wood.
Can I install bright spotlights in interior WPC false ceilings?
All WPC false ceiling systems in the Modulatus line allow for the integration of lighting fixtures, ventilation systems, and access panels, making them ideal for indoor applications.
What are the advantages of WPC compared to wood?
WPC is self-extinguishing and fire-resistant. Furthermore, the wood-polymer composite achieves superior sound insulation compared to natural wood, does not need protective painting, does not crack or splinter, is resistant to woodworms and mold, and the planks are supplied in custom lengths down to the millimeter.
What is the impact of WPC production on the planet?
WPC composite wood is 100% recyclable and is made from wood flour, which—in the case of Woodn Greenwood products—is FCP-certified and sourced through a short supply chain. We transform all waste material into new raw material, which we reuse to produce new profiles: this is how WPC helps combat global deforestation.
