More sustainable construction with WPC
Woodn Greenwood's purpose is to offer the construction industry a alternative material to natural wood.
A technologically advanced and aesthetically pleasing composite wood, but above all capable of combat global deforestation.
This is why the wood used in our WPC stands out internationally for having achieved the FSC® certification with the 70% blend formula: The label indicates that the wood in the Woodn product comes from FSC®-certified material, recycled material, and/or controlled-source wood.
Wood sourcing is complex and the path traveled by the materials from forest to shelf (chain of custody) is being followed with great attention.
Behind every label is the story of the product, and we work to ensure that it was made with forest materials from responsible sources. Because wood from responsibly managed forests ensures that satisfying today's needs will not compromise tomorrow's world.
ENERGY REQUIREMENTS AND WATER CYCLE
The production plant, based in Treviso and covering an area of approximately 14,000 square meters, is powered by a photovoltaic system that meets 100% of the daytime energy demand.
3,000 square meters were utilized with the installation of photovoltaic panels, yielding an annual production of approximately 311,000 kWh.
The water used for cooling the 9 extrusion lines is managed by a new-generation closed-cycle system. The water is thus collected and fed back into the cooling systems. Only once a year is the water purified and replaced so as to avoid any waste.
Woodn Greenwood profiles are completely recyclable and can be reprocessed into WPC to create new profiles and systems of the RIGENERA collection
Using machinery custom-built for the company, the material is first sorted by color, then fed into a shredder that grinds and pulverizes it to a mesh size ready to be reintroduced into the production process.
This is the closing of a virtuous circle that testifies to the company's commitment to the realization of a true Circular economy.
That is how it is born REGENERATE, a collection of profiles and systems made from recycled composite wood, manufactured using 100% with secondary raw materials, thanks to the recovery of WPC from end-of-life slats.
The life cycle assessment was also completed in 2024 (LCA – Life Cycle Assessment), a fundamental tool for implementing an integrated product policy, resulting in an environmental product declaration (EPD - Environmental Product Declaration) and emission of CAM Minimum Environmental Criteria.

Woodn Greenwood is a’ISO 9001 certified company, issued by IMQ (Italian Institute for Quality Certification), a global recognition that attests to the effectiveness of the quality management systems for the processes of its organization.
The FSC® certification instead, it attests to the company's commitment to maintaining the chain of custody for the wood used in production, which comes from responsibly managed forests. In this way, Woodn Greenwood ensures that satisfying today's needs will not compromise the world of tomorrow.
The Woodn Greenwood mapping illustrates the company's excellence in relation to LEED® credits, according to the LEED® BD+C V4 protocol. The LEED® rating system certifies the building and provides the market with a shared approach and a measurable standard for every aspect addressed.
Woodn Greenwood has obtained certification ReMade in Italy thanks to the use of products from the Rigenera line, developed with recycled materials and designed for a circular economy.
